Homework 2

20 points

Complete your homework and submit it to your instructor.

This assignment will require you to graph the functions.

Make sure to show all your work.

1. Graph f(x) = 3sin(2x - pi). Find the amplitude, period, and phase shift of the function.

2. Graph f(x) = 1/4 cos(1/2 x + pi/2). Find the amplitude, period, and phase shift of the function.

3. Graph f(x) = -cos(3x + pi). Find the amplitude, period, and phase shift of the function.

4. Write the equation of the cosine function with an amplitude of one-third, a period of 2 pi, and a phase shift of 3 pi over 2.

5. Write the equation of the sine function with an amplitude of 4, a period of pi over two, and a phase shift of negative pi over four.
