Law of Sines Tutorial: The Ambiguous Case
What happens if you are not able to create a unique triangle? If you have two sides and a non-included angle, you may not have one unique triangle; you could have two triangles, or a triangle may not exist. There could be one solution, two solutions, or no solution. This is called the ambiguous case.
