Deriving the Formulas for the Area of a TriangleBoy studying

How are these equations derived?
Look at: K = 1/2 bc sinA.

This equation is used when you are given two sides and an included angle (SAS).
Look at the following triangle:

Image of triangle ABC

K = Area of the triangle

K = 1/2 bh; sinA = h/c

Solving for h:

h = c sinA

Substitute the value found for h into K = 1/2 bh:

K = 1/2 bc sinA

If you redraw the altitudes, or heights, you can develop two different formulas as listed previously.
